Nepali Chicken Momo Recipe
Ingredients for Chicken momos
- Tomatoes: 2, roasted or boiled
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Ginger: 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds: 2 tablespoons (roasted)
- Green chili: 1, optional
- Salt: to taste
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro: for garnish (optional)
- All-purpose flour: 2 cups
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Water: approximately 1 cup (or as needed)
Filling:
- Chicken (minced): 1 lb (450 grams)
- Onion: 1 medium, finely chopped
- Green onions: 3–4 stalks, finely chopped
- Garlic: 1 tablespoon, finely minced
- Ginger: 1 tablespoon, finely minced
- (optional for spiciness)
- Cilantro: 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Cabbage: 1/2 cup, finely shredded
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon (optional for flavor)
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder: 1/2 teaspoon

- Dipping Sauce (Achar):
